Avon has instituted a No-Idle policy at all of their distribution facilities. All carriers servicing an Avon distribution center must shut off their engines while at a dock or waiting to access a dock. Avon has instituted this policy at all facilities in response to the local communities in which they are located. Zero Idling will help reduce the carbon output into the atmosphere and improve air and noise quality in the communities in which they reside. SCG, as one of Avon's preferred carriers, is proud to be participating in this program.
